Cheese and ham pie
This cheese and ham pie is really easy to make and is a great choice when having people over for dinner.
1.2 cups wheat flour
3.5 oz butter
3 tbsp water
3.5 oz ham
1 cup milk
5 oz grated cheese
Cherry tomatoes marinated in a mix of vinegar, olive oil, herbs, salt and pepper.
Preheat your oven to 380°F. Begin by combining wheat flour and butter. Use your hands to work in the butter with the flour. Add water and work on the dough some more until it's firm.
Press the pie dough out until it covers the inside of a baking tin. Cut the ham into cubes and put them in the tin on the dough. Cut the paprika and add it to the tin.
Combine eggs, milk, salt, pepper and chili powder in a bowl and whip. Add the grated cheese to the egg mix and pour it into the tin on top of the ham and paprika.
Bake in oven for about 30 minutes. The egg mix has to be firm before it's ready to eat.
While the pie is in the oven, cut the cherry tomatoes in two and marinate them in a mixture consisting of 2 parts of oil, 1 part of vinegar, some salt, pepper and herbs of your liking. When the pie is ready, garnish with the cherry tomatoes on top of the pie before serving.
