Tomato pasta sauce
I honestly find it hard to think of any recipe that is easier or faster than this tomato pasta sauce. And yet it's both tasty and filling. This tomato sauce can also be used for lasagna or pizza.
14 oz chopped tomatoes
1 tbsp tomato purée
Fry chopped onion until it's getting transparent. Add chopped tomatoes to the pan, salt, pepper, garlic powder, a pinch of sugar and tomato purée. Add equal parts of oregano, basil and tarragon.
My recommendation for pasta type is spaghetti but anything will work. Serve with a chunk of parmesan. I recommend using chunks of parmesan as opposed to grated parmesan as the flavor of grated cheese can easily disappear among all the other flavors. Another great tip is to put some fresh basil on top (see image).
